From the Straw Hat Crew and beyond, over 400 ONE PIECE characters appear as staff and customers in a spritely pixel style for the first time in a game!
Grand Gourmet features more than 400 characters from the Straw Hat Crew and beyond, drawn in a pixel style for the first time in a game. They appear as staff and as customers, and Bandai Namco promises character events and character-to-character interactions you can't see anywhere else.
Official material so far shows Sanji, who develops dishes with you, Luffy, and the Baratie cooks Patty and Carne, whose fight against a fake Baratie sets up the story. Screenshots on the Japanese site show Ace visiting the restaurant and Higuma breaking into a cold sweat at the sight of Shanks. Bandai Namco has also teased the giants of Elbaph.
Regulars, fans and favourite dishes
Characters have their own tastes. Officially, if an invited character likes your restaurant's design, they may become a regular, and serving great set menus wins you more fans. Different setups, such as Whole Cake Island or Egghead themes, can attract different characters.
Each character page will list how to unlock them, whether they can work as staff, their favourite dishes and the decor themes they like, as soon as players confirm them.
