ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet best set menus: seal of approval for every dish

By stormland · Published

TL;DR

  • Fill all four slots of a set with dishes that carry the same Straw Hat’s seal of approval, and the set price goes up sharply.
  • Which Straw Hat endorses a dish is fixed. Dishes made before that crew member joins get their seal automatically when they join.
  • Before a hospitality challenge, switch to your tastiest sets; for cooking battles, balance price and tastiness.

The quickest way to raise your set prices in Grand Gourmet is the seal of approval (お墨付き). Each dish is endorsed by one Straw Hat, and a set built from four dishes with the same seal sells for much more. This page lists every endorsed dish by crew member, with the highest-priced dish for each slot.

How the seal of approval works

Every new dish receives a seal of approval from one Straw Hat at its tasting session. Who endorses which dish is fixed, but you only find out once that crew member has joined; dishes made earlier get their seal automatically when they do. When you build a set, the endorsing crew member’s icon appears next to each dish in the list.

A set normally costs the sum of its dishes. Four dishes with the same seal raise that price a lot. Pairing a main with a well-matched side dish or drink adds a compatibility bonus on top, and some garnishes raise the price further. Dishes in a set also level up as the set sells, and higher-level dishes cost more.

Hospitality challenges are scored on comfort, table type, reputation and set-menu tastiness, and only tastiness depends on the food, so rebuild your sets for tastiness just before one. Cooking battles compare the price and tastiness of several sets along with staff level; you can edit your sets before the battle starts.

Endorsed dishes by crew member

Seal data covers 228 of the 237 dishes. The best starting price adds up the most expensive endorsed main, side dish, dessert and drink for each crew member. Starting prices are before dish levels, so a dish you have levelled up can out-earn a pricier one.

FAQ

How do I see which Straw Hat endorses a dish?
Look for the crew member’s icon next to the dish in the dish list when you build a set menu. It also appears at the tasting session when you create the dish, and every recipe page on this site lists it.
Why doesn’t a dish have a seal of approval?
The crew member who endorses it hasn’t joined yet. Once they do, every dish you already made gets its seal automatically.
Should I always use same-seal sets?
For daily sales, yes. For a hospitality challenge, tastiness counts instead of price, so switch to your tastiest set before you start.
